DESCRIPTION of SERVICES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Identify and contact content experts; solicit, consolidate, summarize, and analyze reviews of draft material; and provide directives to editors/authors based on results
• Work one-on-one with authors to ensure completion of project objectives (i.e., schedules, manuscript specifications, etc.)
• Prepare final manuscript for release to production

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

• Assess early-version manuscript to determine market appropriateness and potential
• Line edit early-version manuscript to achieve clarity and flow and to ensure tone,  style, and level are consistent; critical information and terms are present; claims are supported; organization is logical; and concepts are fully developed
  
• Analyze market and competition and make recommendations for development strategy and resource allocation
  

WRITING

• Articles

• Ghostwriting

PROOFREADING

• Check manuscript for spelling/typo and formatting errors, blind or against original document.
• Familiar with APA, MLA, and Chicago Manual of style, but can follow any house style guidelines

COPYEDITING

• Render manuscript clear, correct, concise, comprehensible, and consistent (i.e., edit to correct grammar, usage, and punctuation errors; eliminate repetitious passages and clichés; and ensure the consistency of formatting and diction).
• Familiar with APA, MLA, and Chicago Manual of style, but can follow any house style guidelines
